Oberon had spent the last few days with Pitch hoping to make sure that his kingdom was well prepared to handle the new darkness that was coming. How long would it be before that time came? Would his people be prepared? Was trusting Pitch the best thing to do? A tiny part of him wasn't sure but it didn't matter much. He was doing this for his own kingdom. It was a shame that his own wife didn't see that.
Though Pitch had advised against him going to see her, Oberon refused to be swayed. "Hello Ana." he said calmly using her nickname as he showed up.

Titania was sitting at the table in the center of the cage. She listened to the voice, she knew who it was and even after all that happened. It still felt some sence of calm in that voice. She looked up and in the direction of the voice. "Oberon." she said looking at him. She couldn't help to wonder why he was here.

Oberon was a bit taken back by her look of curiosity. He guessed that he hadn't seen her that often. Clearing his throat he looked at her. "How are you?" he asked. Wow. That was off to a great start. She probably wasn't doing so well, being locked in a bird cage at all. But it didn't really mean that much to him. "You look well."

Titania raised her eyebrow at Oberon. How was she? She was living in a cage, the kingdom was turning dark under her husband's hand, and there was a war going on between the territories. How was she supposed to feel? "I'm as well as to be expected and so do you." she ended up saying calmly.

The king of Fae looked at his wife for a long time. "I know it might not seem like it but I am doing what is good for the kingdom." he said calmly. "If i can protect us from what is about to come then it will mean peace for everyone. It is not something I could have done without "his" help." He didn't like Pitch, or father part of him didn't trust him. But if he could give the King of Nixies one thing, he didn't lie that much, or rather lie about what was important

Titania looked at her husband. How can he see what he was doing was good? She trusted her husband. Believed in him. "I trust you, but what your doing. People are dying. Nations don't trust other nations. I trust you believe me. It's him I don't trust and I...." she stopped. Tears started to fall from her eyes. She still loved Oberon. She really did. Yet she was afraid of what the future would hold.

Oh no. she was crying. Oberon wasn't good with people crying, let alone his own wife. "I am sorry, I don't see what you see in him. I used to not trust him but..." he frowned. "Something changed, I don't want people to die from something that I cannot control. So, please don't cry." he said. Not sure what else to say. "I can see what I can do, maybe i can summon some of the other nations to discuss a treaty."

Titania looked at her husband and then thought of Pitch's control. Was her husband meeting with the leaders to discuss a treaty an actual good idea with him on Pitch's side. She still couldn't believe how blind her husband was. There was nothing she could do. "That's up to you to decide." she said. She knew there was good still within her husband, but one thing was clear. He was misguided.

"If it will stop the fighting then I think it is a good idea." Oberon said. "I don't want meaningless bloodshed especially when there is no war coming." He knew that violence was wrong at least in his mind. That one thing hadn't changed, Pitch was meant to help with that, stop the violence. He believed it. At least part of him did

Titania looked at Oberon. He was so blind. How could he be? She believed in her husband. "I still trust you." she said. Yet she knew with her husband being manipulated by Pitch, things could only falter.

Oberon was not sure what else to say to that. What else could he say to prove that he was doing the right thing for not just her but for all the Fae. He had to think of something, and he wasn't exactly sure what.

Titania looked at Oberon for a moment or two. "Oberon, I know you. I do. I know that your heart is good and I trust that. If there is one thing I know is that my faith in you never died. I do love you." she said. Not sure how he was going to take that.

Oberon wasn't sure how to respond. He loved his wife as well, how could he make her see. "Then if you love me then you have to trust me that listening to Pitch is the right thing to do." he said calmly. He didn't want to start a fight with the woman he loved. Why couldn't his wife see that he was helping?!

Titania looked at Oberon. Tears started to fall again. "You idiot. You think just cause I don't trust Pitch, I don't love you. You idiot I just don't trust him and I know his words are poision. You believe in an apocoloptic theory. This will kill you. I can't take that. I do love you. I do. I always have and always will."

"I never said you didn't love me!" Oberon's voice rose. He had never gotten angry at her before, but now she was pushing him. "I want you to trust me, and I trust Pitch. I believe he's trying to help me. So help me Ana, I can't keep arguing with you." he rubbed his temples. "I don't think you understand what kind of danger we could be in if Pitch hadn't given us this warning."
