Celeste had had a quiet afternoon, her father was out doing his own job in "advising" Oberon. The girl was a bit relieved to have the castle to herself. No servant would enter her private garden without her permission. If they did, well, no one ever found out what would happen if people came into her garden without said permission.
Pushing back her raven hair out of her face, the girl shifted into her normal form. The shadow form was normally better in the night kingdom, but as of now that she was alone her normal form was better. The girl sat politely as she gazed at the flowers. Ones that she had grown herself.
"Sir! You cannot go in there! That is my lady's private garden." A voice of one of her servants caught her attention. Turning her head halfway over her shoulder she wondered who had come to the castle.

Yu wore a cloak and hood to hide who he was as looked around the castle garden. The merchants at the town wouldn't sell him the ingredients his Uncle Milton requested and overheard that the castle garden had the herbs and flowers that his Uncle needed. He snipped some dragon fire flowers, freezing mint, and black roses. He spotted the last ingredient his uncle needed, dragon eye lily. Yu was about to snip it and was stopped by one of the servants yelling, "Sir! You cannot go in there! That is my Lady's Private Garden!"
Yu haven't had his daily sweets and was offended by the merchants who did not only give him the items he needed but was terrified of him when he removed his hood. Yu said annoyed as he was hungry for his sweets, "Sir I have money. I'll pay back but your people wouldn't give me items I need instead they fear me." Yu showed the bag of gold and said as he removed the hood, "Here."

Celeste stood up and looked at the servant. "It is alright. No money is required, he has my permission to enter." she said with a calm but cold tone in her voice.
"Y-y-yes milady." the servant retreated. Celeste turned back to the boy in the hood, her ruby eyes staring daggers at him, though her face remained calm and collected. There was one thing that the princess of nixies did not like it was thieves, of course her own people could have been accused of that, so she did not say anything about it.
"You best have a good reason for coming into my private garden, if i had not been here, you would be dead." she folding her arms in front of her, very lady-like to those who had known her. "I am giving you one chance to explain yourself."
This garden was her domain, no one else could come in without her permission even family. She didn't need to give him a look but her eyes clearly read this' It had better be good, or else.'

Yu explained honestly and then annoyed, "Of course. I came here to get my Uncle Milton's ingredients for antidotes. I went to the merchants to get the items and when I showed myself they were terrified of me. I thought they saw something scary behind me but one of them yelled in terror, 'Please don't hurt me!' To be honest, I was getting frustrated by them and I overheard that your garden would have the flowers and herbs my uncle needed. I was going to pay back for the damages. Plus I'm very low on sugar."
Yu couldn't find the sugar skulls that were famous here in the land of nixies and said annoyed, "They wouldn't even let me have a sugar skull because of their fear." Yu couldn't understand why the nixies were afraid of him and that shouldn't be. He had done any harm to them whatsoever.

Celeste looked at the boy with a raised eyebrow. "So, you decided to try to break into my private garden and steal my flowers?" she asked, keeping her voice calm. No need to get agitated unless she had to. The girl sighed and rubbed her temple with one of her fingers. Why did she have to be the one to deal with this and why was she the one who always had thieves in her garden?
She decided not to remark about the idea of Sugar.

Yu exclaimed seriously, "It was either that or let the children die!" Yu sighed and explained sadly, "I played with those children and no parent should have to bury their child." He pulled out a small dragon doll that one of the children gave him and said seriously as looked at it, "I swore to them. I would find those items." Yu then frowned and said with a hint of anger as he gripped the doll, "But your people wouldn't give me those items. They coward and hid as if I was a monster."
Yu asked angrily, "Why? Why do they fear me? I have done nothing wrong!" Yu looked down at the nixies and wondered why they feared him. Why did the nixies fear him and flee from him when he revealed himself to them. He had not felt this pain since his childhood when the leprechaun children saw him and was called a monster because of his bloodline he did not know.

Celeste sighed and shook her head. "Stealing isn't the way to do it. Especially from my garden." Celeste had had this garden since she was little girl. It had been a gift from her mother, or so her father had said. "This garden is very dear to me." The princess looked at her nails as if bored. "Are you sure you are not talking about yourself? Nixies hold no fear over anything, we cause fear and bring it. Nothing scares us." Her red eyes narrowed. "if it did then we are not worthy to be Nixies at all."

Yu's pupils turned into Smaug's pupils and said frustrated, "All they said was that they didn't mean to betray me and to not harm them." He didn't know what to think what the nixies said to him and said curiously as he thought out loud, "One of them muttered, 'The true heir lives...'." Yu had thought that they had mistaken him for someone else but he did not know what truly happened to him. He asked out of thought, "What do they mean 'the true heir lives'...?"
He was confused about what the nixies said and looked at the dragon doll. He didn't know what to think but he knew he needed to save the children in the leprechaun kingdom. He looked at the woman and asked curiously and seriously, "Do you know what they mean?"

Celeste shrugged. "I don't pay much attention to the rumors that the townspeople discuss. It is my job to guide them, but the rumors to me are pointless." she shook her head, her ruby eyes moved back to her flowers as she carefully ran a finger between two of the petals as if to check to make sure they were still together.
"You seem to be worrying about yourself a lot. I am surprised, the whole nations fighting is much more troubling. Even I am not unmoved from worrying about it."

Yu rolled his eyes and then spotted a statue of Maleficent. He walked towards it and put his hand on it. He kept looking at it and asked curiously, "Who is this? She looks very familiar..."
Yu notice an odd design on the stone staff and felt that there was a button. He slowly pressed it and statue moved back as it revealed a spiral staircase he asked curiously as he looked at her, "Where does this lead?" Like his adoptive father he had grown curious to see where it lead.

Celeste shrugged, not really sure. She didn't really care too much to be honest. "It is not my place to ask. I am not the queen or the king. Anything that happens in this castle is not always under my watchful eye," she smirked. "Though to be honest, maybe you shouldn't be poking your nose in things that don not concern you cousin."

(Ooc: sorry I was away from my laptop. I was eating cake and i didn't want cake on my laptop. my cousin thought it was a story we were working on and she deeply apologize for what she's done)
Yu asked surprised as he was confused, "What did you call me?" He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Why did she call him her cousin? Yu was sure that uncle Milton didn't have any children and was confused as he tilted his head to the side. He stood still as he looked at the girl with bloody ruby eyes.
He dropped his bag and the ingredients that were in their own jars shattered inside as his pupils became like Smaug's.

Celeste gave a tiny smile. "Fear not, it is just a common thing for Nixies to call each other. You are a Nixie yes? Then you are therefore my cousin." she said. "It really isn't that hard if you think about it, though i suppose you have a lot on your mind since you do not have what was it...your daily dose of sugar?"

Yu nod his head and asked as he stared at her, "Do you have those famous sugar skulls? I want one or ten." He wanted those sweets and he hunger for them as he picked up his ingredients and frowned. Yu said sadly as he picked up the broken jars, "I broke my handmade glass jars. I had them as a child."
He was hungry but he was sad that his first craft was broken. Yu looked at her and asked as held his broken jar set, "Also I need replacements, do you have spare glass jars?"

Normally Celeste wouldn't do something like this, even a princess didn't eat a lot of candy. But the princess of nixies did in fact have a sweet tooth especially for sugar skulls. She massaced her silver nail-like ring on her finger before looking at him. "I shall make you a deal. I will give you some of the candy and glass jars if you swear on the Blood of the Midnight Moon that you do not steal or step foot in my garden again."
The Bloody Moon thing was something she made, it was a swear that most people did not mistake to not lie about. Even she, who was known for having a straight face when lying did not falter by this swear.
"Do we have a deal...cousin?" she asked titling her head with a warm smile.
